About Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT)



Currently providing comprehensive travel management services to more than 5,600 organizations in North America alone, CWT (www.carlsonwagonlit.com) ranks number one in EMEA, APAC and Latin America and second in North America.

CWT offers the largest wholly owned global network employing 22,000 people in more than 150 countries. CWT has been operating since 1994, the point at which two industry giants, Carlson Companies and Accor S.A., combined their respective travel companies (Carlson Travel Network and Wagon-lits Travel) in a 50/50 joint venture.  In 2006, Carlson Companies and OEP, a private equity affiliate of JPMorgan Chase & Co., acquired Accor’s share of CWT.  At the same time, CWT acquired Navigant International, a leading travel management company with roots across North America.
